Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Graf. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Graf, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Graf.
1. Acceptance of terms
You must agree to these Terms to use Graf. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Continued use of Graf after changes to these Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
2. No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior
Graf has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not use Graf to post, send, or share objectionable content - including harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or any unlawful material - or to abuse, harass, or harm other people. Users who post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior may have their content removed and their accounts suspended or terminated, without notice.
3. Reporting, blocking, and enforcement
Graf provides tools to block any user and to report objectionable content and abusive behavior. We review reports and act on them - including removing content and ejecting offending users - within 24 hours. To report abuse, contact abuse@graf.chat.
4. End-to-end encryption
Messages on Graf are end-to-end encrypted. This means Graf cannot read the content of your messages. Enforcement against abuse therefore relies on user reports, which may include content you choose to share with us when you submit a report, and on metadata and account-level signals available to us.
5. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you send and for activity on your account.
- Keep your account credentials and Recovery Key secure. Because of end-to-end encryption, we cannot recover messages if you lose your keys.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security of the service or other users.
6. Alpha software, provided as-is
Graf is invite-only alpha software and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The service may change, break, or be interrupted at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graf is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Graf at any time, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using Graf and delete your account at any time from Settings.
